Lore - Rumours of Mishima District The White Knight of Mishima: At the scene of Akuma attacks, it is said that a man in white armor appears to save those who are endangered by Akuma, using a flaming sword to fend off the Akuma and rescuing civilians like a superhero. Before anyone can thank them, the knight disappears into the night without a word. The most consistent name for him is the White Knight, though nobody knows what he is, or even if he is a Kaijin or some superhero. Some locals have created merchandise of the White Knight, and some of the smaller, local shops hold posters, figures and badges of the White Knight, as he is treated like a local hero, similar to the superheroes on television nowadays. Some enterprising journalists have sought to find the White Knight and question them by following Akuma attacks, but to no avail. As to their true identity, some speculate he might be a student from Amamiya or Hermelin, others a rich businessman's heir like in an anime. Kanade Mishima: The mysterious, beautiful heiress to the Mishima Corporation and a third-year student at Amamiya High School, as well as Student Council President. While having a large following among the student bodies of Amamiya and Hermelin, it is said that Kanade has few friends, and not much is known about her private life, despite her having attended Amamiya for three years. All that is known is that she keeps company with Tsukasa Kazami, another third-year student at Amamiya well-known for his good looks and equally mysterious countenance. Rumours surround the both of them, ranging from them pursuing a secret relationship to them being Kaijin themselves; of course, the latter is considered ridiculous, for where would either of them get the time to be Kaijin? Kaijin Vigilantes: While Kaijin are generally associated with fighting Akuma, there is a rumour that some former victims of Akuma, after having been saved by Kaijin, have been assaulted by Kaijin and hospitalised. Not much is known about the Kaijin that are supposedly behind these attacks. While this has not happened after every Akuma incident, evenough former Akuma victims have been attacked that police presences have been requested and placed around known former Akuma victims; not that this helps, given that Kaijin are far more resilient and far stronger than the average police officer. Missing Heiress: The powerful and ancient Kazuraba family have recently placed searches for their daughter, Hanako Kazuraba, who went missing in the vicinity three years ago; her father and former patriarch Shouta was found severely injured at the scene. While some suspicion was initially placed on Yosuke Mishima- after all, the Kazuraba and Mishima families have been business rivals for decades- an rigorous investigation cleared the Mishimas of wrongdoing, aided by Yosuke helping the search using his own resources. However, no trace of Hanako Kazuraba has been found. It is rumoured that Hanako may have run away due to the abusive nature of the Kazuraba family home, as former servants of the family have made comments to this effect, but the true reason as to why. Some suggest that she might be disguised as an ordinary transfer student in Hermelin or Amamiya, but far more salacious rumours abound. Idol in Amamiya: The famed idol Fuuka Yagami graduated three years ago from her idol group Afternoon. Rumours suggest that she retired due to burnout, but not much is known. While her current whereabouts are unknown, some investigation has followed her trail to the Mishima Economic District, where the trail goes cold. However, enterprising fans of Afternoon in both schools spread rumours about three students as being Fuuka under an assumed name; Ayaka Fujimura, Rise Koga, and Tomoe Futaba, all students who have similar appearances to the retired idol and are of the right age. Amamiya and Hermelin staff have put out warnings against hounding students with these rumours, but the speculation has yet to stop, and forums populated by students still bristle with occasional discussion.
